In light of the current COVID-19 pandemic, we wanted to give you an update on the changes we are making in the salon to ensure your safety is our main priority.
If you are unwell, have recently returned from overseas travel or have come into contact with someone with COVID-19, please reschedule, even if you do not have any symptoms.
We are closely monitoring the government and industry advice, (although there isn't much guidance), and have made some changes in how we operate under their best guidance.
All customers will have their temperature taken on arrival and we have introduced sanitation-stations with hand sanitiser – please use these, as much and as often as you can
Shoe coverings will also be provided on arrival
Please note, where possible please minimise the belongings you bring to your appointment, such as coats, bags, scarves, etc, however we will have dedicated sanitised areas for you to store belongings
We are still committed to your comfort while at The Curl Clinic™️, however you will notice we will be serving our refreshments/teas/coffees/drinks in disposable cups. This is for the safety of our staff to reduce germ transfer, and you, and we promise we are doing our best to recycle and dispose of these ethically
We are taking extra care to ensure we are sanitising and cleaning between each client in the chairs
We have made changes to space out our salon stations/chairs in an effort to self-distance as much as possible
Our very small team are following government recommendations, and will all be isolating if they show flu-like symptoms, so we ask for your patience and understanding if we need to reschedule your appointment
Our Salon policy is to wear a face covering where possible, we have disposable masks in salon for those who do not bring their own, to ensure the safety of stylists and clients.
CANCELLATIONS / RESCHEDULE
We ask you that you arrive for your appointment with your hair dry in its natural curl pattern. This means you must not arrive for your appointment with your hair wet/ tied in a bobble/ bun/clip/twist out/straightened. If your hair requires extensive detangling or is not in a workable state we may have to ask you to reschedule or additional service charges will apply. Further details of individual appointment preparation will be included in your email confirmation. Unfortunately, we do not offer our services to clients with relaxed/keratin/texturised hair. If you are unsure if you qualify for our services please contact us.
Appointments can be booked online through our booking system or in-salon. We do not accept bookings via Instagram direct message or any other social media outlet. We require a £15 booking deposit to secure your appointment, which will be deducted from the appointment total. You will receive a booking confirmation email and also a reminder email/text message the day before your appointment.
You can change/cancel your booking using our online booking system up to 48 hours before your appointment. Failure to turn up to your appointment without notice will result in the full balance due
We aim to make your experience at The Curl Clinic as amazing as possible and if for any reason you are unsatisfied with anything, please let us know within 24 hours of receiving your service and we will be happy to schedule an appointment to remedy any issues you may have.
