2024 DATES AVAILABLE -(Plus one in-salon training day of your choice) Prerequisites: Beginner (New to Curly Cutting & Styling) ***Includes 3+ curly mannequins with a variation of textures We recommend attending The Curl Clinic Education Introduction to Curly Hair & Styling Level 1 before enrolling on this course. Our styling knowledge and techniques pair perfectly with our cutting techniques This course provides intensive and practical training to provide the in-depth knowledge and skills that curly clients are desperately seeking. This is a 1-1 course, giving you undivided attention to develop at your own pace. Can be done in a duo if from the same salon. Days 1 & 2 - 2 Consecutive days of Demo, Theory and Practice Day 3 to be arranged for your own convenience to take on real clients for the day You Will Learn: • How to dry-cut curly hair in its natural state. • Important considerations when cutting curly hair. • How to use different techniques for different curl patterns. • Learn how to build the foundation and steps needed to create any desired shape. • Cutting techniques for organising a curly cut and creating movement. • How to prevent the dreaded triangle shape or cutting off too much. • Effective ways to communicate and connect with your curly clients by building trust and setting realistic expectations. Each lesson progresses and builds your skills and develop your techniques to give you a quality foundation for your curly hairdressing career. You will learn HOW to cut curly hair, rather than a haircut that you repeatedly perform on a client, thus equipping you with the skills to provide a bespoke service to the infinite variations of curly hair.
